Your 2-day workshop is an introduction to the Mockingbird Methodology.
The Mockingbird Methodology is a collection of research-based strategies and best practices designed to create SAFE, JOYFUL, ACTIVE, and ENGAGING classrooms.
The research-based approach focuses on the LEARNER EXPERIENCE.
Participants will explore a buffet of strategies from the 4 different types of methodology strategies.
Participant Experience
We are committed to creating fun, engaging, and participatory experiences that help participants process, think, reflect, interact with, and apply workshop information and strategies. We understand your time is valuable. We will not waste your time. Our goal is to share effective strategies that you can apply immediately in your classroom.
We approach professional development with an “I Am Not Afraid of Better!” attitude, meaning that regardless of your teaching skill and experience, our facilitators will focus on processes and strategies that every teacher can use to grow towards instructional mastery.

WOrkshop Norms
Our workshop norms and engagement help us provide safe, affirming, and fun learning environments.
Expect to interact and participate. Our workshops are multi-sensory experiences. Workshop participants interact verbally, physically, and emotionally, Our workshop experiences are joyful and active and are always led by a facilitator who will lead by example.
