Consistent Learning Path means repetition in the way lessons are presented in the online classroom. In a regular classroom, there is an established routine. For example, taking attendance,a question of the day, homework, introducing a new concept or reviewing previous concepts, and answering questions All students are expected to be prepared with a notebook and a pen or pencil. A routine must be developed in the online classroom so that the student knows what procedure to follow on a daily basis. Now the lessons may look like this: sprint, sprint, check point, discussion. A clear, simple, and repetitive format must be used on a daily and weekly basis. The student’s anxiety and stress level becomes less with the technology aspect if a standard format is established. Once the student is familiar with the routine he/she can place more focus on the learning aspect which is the most important outcome of the program.

I agree.  On line classes still must have a consistent routine.  Always have a warmup, that can be done as the students enter the virtual classroom.  A quick quizz on Kahoot or Quizzlet, as they enter their attendance.  This will allow the student’s to review an aspect of the last lesson and prepare for the new lesson.  Keeping a time schedule of activities  is also helpful if your class is limited by a time logistic.
